Vintage textured yellow spatter glass vase. Possibly Kralik or Weltz. UV Reactive (see photos #11 & #12).Approximately 8.25 inches tall, 1.75 inches wide (top), 13 inches circumference (widest part), and 2.5 inches wide (base). Purchased at auction as an unmarked Czechoslovakian spatter glass vase with a mottled spatter glass exterior in vibrant shades of yellows (some navy blue). Estimated to be from 1930s-1950s.Small chip on the rim (difficult to see due to the spatter glass pattern). No cracks or breaks noted. Spatter glass, also known as splatter glass, end-of-day glass or splashed glass. Most commonly found spatter glass is of Czech/Bohemian origin. Spatter glass is produced by rolling hot blown glass over small pieces or chips of colored glass, giving the vase a textured feel. Difficult to identify exact maker (Kralik or Welz?).
